THE OLD CARTHUSIAN ART SOCIETY
Charles Lewis retired from a career in Medicine in 2014. Despite having little prior experience of painting or drawing he was persuaded to join a tutored oil painting class in Summer 2016.
He immediately realized that he had found his chosen medium and with the encouragement of an inspirational tutor has progressed in his favorite genres of landscape and still life painting.
He generally paints from photographs taken in the UK or France.
