After studying GCSE and A Level art at school in the UK, Faye completed an Art Foundation Course at L’Atelier de Sèvres, Paris, before reading French and Spanish at Cambridge University.
Whilst at Cambridge Faye exhibited in student art exhibitions and contributed to the graphic design of the student newspaper, The Cambridge Student.
She now works in HR for Prudential Plc, specialising in Talent Management & Succession Planning. Following 4 years in Prudential’s Hong Kong business, she’s now based back at the Group Head Office in London. Back in London she’s attended short courses in Drawing and Illustration at Central Saint Martins UAL, King Cross.
Having lived in London, Paris and Hong Kong, her work reflects the exchange and dynamism of city living, along with the diversity of people, cultures and languages found there. Is language ever adequate to communicate the experience of existing amongst our fellow men and women? Can it ever really do justice to our feelings and emotions, our hopes and dreams?
Faye’s work is available in Studio 73 in Brixton Market, and via their website. She has also recently been commissioned by the Dulwich Picture Gallery to produce illustrations to help celebrate their bicentenary – 200 years of sharing art with members of the general public.
