PJD entered Verites in October 1939 and left in July 1944 - Head of House OQ 1943. Deputy Head of Charterhouse Jan/July 1944.

Worked with Jasper Holmes on Pioneering and with Rev George Snow on Choose Film Society and started Greenroom in 1942 (allied with Firewatching).
